Dove Brings Real Beauty Campaign to New Zealand

Dove Brings Real Beauty Campaign to New Zealand

15 July 2013; International beauty brand Dove has brought its Campaign for Real Beauty to New Zealand by recruiting four Kiwi women to be the faces of its hair care range.

Dove has used real women all over the world for the campaign – but this is the first time the campaign has been created in New Zealand for New Zealanders. The women; Renee, Anna, Jodie and Brooke were approached as part of a nationwide campaign to find real Kiwi women that would represent Dove.

Dove’s mission is to invite all women to realise their potential for beauty, so recruiting Kiwi women has been an exciting new step.

“It’s fantastic that we can bring this campaign to New Zealand women, making it more relatable to Kiwis.” Says Mineli Gagliano, Dove Brand Manager for Australia and New Zealand “We feel that the four women we’ve chosen represent a great cross section of Kiwi women – and their hair types!”

Dove also invited New Zealand women to discover the ‘Dove Difference’ and enlisted more than 250 Kiwis to trial various Dove Haircare products. The results were overwhelming, with 9 out of 10 women stating that they found that Dove had a positive result on their hair.

The campaign, which goes live from the 14th of July, talks to the four women about their hair issues and how their hair impacts their lives and confidence in real life situations. It then goes on to offer Dove solutions specific to their own hair types.
