Christchurch Central Development Unit: Market Update #14

Expressions of Interest (EOI) are being sought for Civil and Landscape Construction for Christchurch’s new Avon River Precinct and North and East Frames.

Responses to the EOI document may also be considered in relation to further projects such as the Square and central city streetscapes.

The first stage of the Avon River Precinct, called Watermark, is due to open in the coming weeks.

The Avon River Precinct and North and East Frames are currently in the design phase, but the EOI process will establish a short list of contractors who will be invited to tender for contracts when the construction plans are ready.

The EOI document can now be viewed on the Government Electronic Tenders Service (GETS) at www.gets.govt.nz.

Responses are due by 3 September. Responses will then be evaluated and shortlisted.
