Elementra Opens ESET Integration into Kaseya

Elementra Opens ESET Integration into Kaseya

Auckland, August 15, 2013 – Elementra, a specialist in integration and automation of IT management software, has released a new version of ‘Endpoint Protection’, the integration module that allows IT providers to manage their ESET Endpoint Security from within Kaseya. Version 1.1 offers more comprehensive client and server information, extra tasks, logs and alerts, and more configurable system settings.

Endpoint Protection is a tool for viewing the status of ESET deployments across entire client networks and centrally managing administrative tasks, creating a more secure network.

“Elementra’s ability to successfully integrate both Kaseya and ESET software results from our close working relationship with both vendors,” says Duanne O’Brien, Elementra’s VP of Engineering. “The size and complexity of the development of Endpoint Protection version 1.1 required a significantly deeper integration with both Kaseya and ESET. The assistance provided by both of these business partners meant we could focus on the core functionality while tapping into expertise where and when needed, resulting in a more reliable and integrated product for our customers.”

“Customers are understandably pleased to finally have integration between two essential software products,” says Marek Drummond, Elementra’s VP Business Development. “Managed Service Providers now have a single pane of glass to manage their ESET endpoints, saving time and providing a more effective service. Dashboards, recognisable icons, colour-coded text, and configurable alerts make it much easier to see where problems lie and proactively address any issues. It’s a good result for MSPs and their customers”.

“By creating a unique architecture and common APIs, Elementra now opens ESET integration into Kaseya”, said Ignacio Sbampato, ESET Chief Sales and Marketing Officer. “IT providers will benefit from secure client and server management via a centralized tool, allowing them to view the ESET deployments across their client networks using the ESET Remote Administrator console, view endpoint protection status and perform scans or updates. We are delighted to contribute to effective visibility and control over ESET award-winning endpoints, assisting Kaseya users to manage their IT security effectively”, add Sbampato.

"The combination of the Kaseya IT service management framework and the Elementra ESET solution represents an additional endpoint security opportunity for IT professionals. The Elementra ESET plug-in for Kaseya is another example of the growing demand for seamless centralized service management and further adds to the Kaseya ecosystem," said Jim Alves, EVP OEM & Strategic Initiatives, Kaseya. "The Elementra ESET plug-in extends the overall functionality of the Kaseya system for centrally managed endpoint security from within a single pane of glass."
