Russell McVeagh partner Sally Fitzgerald has won the Dispute Resolution award at the Euromoney Australasian Women in Business Law Awards held last night in Sydney. The award is Australasian in scope and Sally was the only New Zealand-based nominee in the shortlist of eight.
Sally has over 20 years' experience as a litigator at major law firms in New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom. She is a member of Russell McVeagh's Board of Management and was the 2012 Litigation group practice chair, and is highly regarded as an exceptional litigator.
Russell McVeagh also picked up the Auckland City award for initiatives and innovation in gender diversity, mentoring and female-friendly work practices.
Partners Sarah Keene (Competition) and Pip Greenwood (M&A, Capital Markets) were also shortlisted for awards.
