Advanced Security Group Recognised in 2013 AUT Excellence in Business Support Awards

Auckland based electronic security integrator, Advanced Security Group has again been recognised in the 2013 AUT Excellence in Business Support Awards, this time receiving a ‘Highly Commended’ in the large business $10-$100M Turnover Category.

The Awards were announced at a Gala dinner held on the 5th September which was attended by 700 business leaders from around New Zealand.

This recognition follows a win at these same Awards for Advanced Security Group in 2012 and this year the business joined other finalists across 11 categories.

Advanced Security Group CEO, Mike Marr commented that ‘these awards benchmark our performance alongside others in businesses right across New Zealand providing invaluable feedback as well as recognition for our staff across New Zealand’.

The evaluation process of the awards enables finalists to reflect on how effectively their organisation achieves business excellence in all key areas including leadership and planning, customer and market focus, provision of business support, evaluation and improvement, and business results.

Evaluation is overseen by The New Zealand Business Excellence Foundation using the international Baldridge criteria. Evaluators are drawn from the Management Department of AUT Business School.

The Excellence in Business Support Awards are the only national performance measure available to New Zealand business support organisations.
