Discover the Free Holiday Fun At Westfield Shopping Centres In Auckland

Will the kids be at a loose end these holidays? Likely to be bored and stuck indoors? With an action packed line up of free entertainment, from Seedling Activity Centres to exciting Turbo racing adventures, Westfield Shopping Centres have your October school holidays sorted!

Turbo the snail is the star of DreamWorks latest movie these holidays. He’s inspired some exciting activity and competitions at Westfield centres throughout New Zealand. New Zealand kids have the chance to win their very own Turbo by taking part in the racing action.

Crafty kids can make the most of their visits to Westfield these holidays at the seedling activity centres. As a Kiwi company that has built a following for educational, creative toys and activity packs, Seedling is focusing on getting kids to make their own 3D hanging mobiles at Westfield this October. 

The action at Westfield Shopping Centres in Auckland these school holidays includes…

Turbo Racing
Put the pedal to the metal and get the kids racing at lighting speeds in their very own slot car! With customised Turbo tracks and the chance to win the ultimate Turbo prize pack, your kids won’t want to miss out on this free event!

The Turbo Snail Hunt
Get down to your local Westfield and help Turbo find his pit crew so he can win the race of his dreams. Simply download the Turbo app by using an ipad, tablet or smart phone then head along to Customer Service. The littlies will be given a special QR code to unlock the adventure within. Free event!

Seedling Activity Centre
Join the fun at the free Seedling Activity Centre to create your very own 3D mobile with Seedling DIY kits. Choose from multiple designs and get crafty with the materials on offer to create something unique to take home. Free Event!

Meet Monty and make your own Monty Monkey Mask

Creativity Centre
Calling all littlies aged between 3 and 13 years to enter a world of creativity and imagination at the free Creativity Centre. Visit the centre for an hour of arts and crafts, dress ups, story time and a whole lot of fun!

Master Art
Westfield WestCity is proud to support Project Twin Streams 10 year anniversary! To celebrate this great achievement they’re inviting kids to discover their inner artist and bring to life one of the Project Twin Stream canvases.
Free sessions run every 20 minutes from 10.30am – 2.30pm: Mon 7th – Fri 11th October 2013.

Masterclass Painting
Discover your inner artist at Westfield’s Master Art classes. The Master Art class teachers will help you to hone your creative skills and turn a blank canvas into your very own artistic masterpiece to take home and show your family and friends!
Free sessions run every 20 minutes between 11am and 2pm from Monday 7th to Friday 11th October

Project Twin Streams Planting Day
Calling everyone with green fingers! Join Westfield WestCity and help clean up the Oratia stream by planting a few natives on Saturday 19th October. Enjoy the free entertainment and a sausage while relaxing in the sun with family and friends after the Project Twin Streams event. Since Project Twin Streams began in 2003, over 700,000 native trees and shrubs have been planted along the stream banks in West Auckland.
