Tickets to the Hawke’s Bay Chamber of Commerce Awards

October 9th, 2013

Tickets on sale to the Westpac Hawke’s Bay Chamber of Commerce Business Awards, November 7th

Tickets to the region’s biggest celebration of business excellence are now available on the Hawke’s Bay Chamber of Commerce website www.hawkesbaychamber.co.nz.

The black tie Awards Ceremony kicks off with a cocktail party in the Opera House Assembly Hall, followed by a spectacular, high tech Awards ceremony in the Opera House Theatre and three course dinner, matched with Hawke’s Bay wines in the Opera House Plaza.

Chamber CEO Wayne Walford said the Gala Dinner provided a perfect platform for businesses to celebrate success with valued clients and staff.

“The Awards are the region’s opportunity to celebrate commercial success. The more successful our businesses are, the more profitable the region is. Part of our attraction as a region to external businesses is based on the perceived commercial confidence. The Business Awards can help drive this business confidence and acknowledge the great work that Hawke’s Bay businesspeople are doing.

“Growing commercial diversity will develop the environment our families will come home for. Awareness of great commercial success is an important part of growing this diversity. Join us to celebrate the magic of Hawke’s Bay business.”

Hosting the Gala Dinner in the Opera House Plaza is a change from previous years when the Assembly Hall has been the venue for the dinner.

“We can host more guests in the Plaza and it is a truly stunning venue with the glass frontage.”

Judging is now taking place with judges meeting finalists from over thirty companies in the ten Awards categories, over the next two weeks.

Finalists in the general categories will all be eligible for the supreme accolade – the 2013 Westpac Business of the Year.
