Get festive at Pamplona and Haro

14 October 2013

Get festive at Pamplona and Haro

Build your own trip to the Running of the Bulls and Oktoberfest and experience a 7-day adventure to a quirky wine throwing festival with Topdeck.

Topdeck’s new Festivals & Events 2013/2014 brochure features over 40 itineraries covering Europe’s most amazing and eccentric celebrations including La Tomatina and Las Fallas, along with New Year, Christmas and Easter festivities, Anzac Day in Gallipoli 2014 and more.

Topdeck’s new 7-day Spanish Wine Battle visits the Haro Wine Festival, a festival still largely tourist-free in the La Rioja region of northern Spain, from NZ$1149* per person. The festival culminates in the ‘Batalla del Vino’ (wine battle) where revelers dressed in white have one objective – to douse fellow festival goers in as much red wine as possible.

The trip departs Barcelona and includes a driving tour of the city, festival celebrations, a visit to Madrid, hostel and tent accommodation, daily breakfast, three dinners, transport and Topdeck trip leader and driver.

Topdeck has also introduced new ‘Build Your Own’ packages for the San Fermin Running of the Bulls at Pamplona and Oktoberfest which lets you choose your own travel dates, pay a nightly fee and experience these popular festivals at a time that suits you.

They include minimum two nights’ accommodation, breakfast daily, return coach transfers to the festival and services of Topdeck crew from NZ$99* per person per night for Pamplona and NZ$69* per person per night for Oktoberfest.

For more information contact Topdeck on 0800 525 366, visit www.topdeck.travel or your local travel agent.
