Brother Wins Prestigious Global Awards for Product Design

Brother Industries, Ltd. has scooped eight prestigious Good Design Awards in a global programme recognising product design, excellence and innovation.

The multiple wins see Brother celebrate twenty consecutive years of Good Design Award honours, spanning over a total of 182 product categories.

Brother is one of New Zealand’s leading providers of print and imaging equipment, sewing machines and labelling hardware.

Brother Industries, Ltd. (the parent company of Brother International NZ) was one of 3,400 brands and designers from around the globe to submit entries.

Each product that receives a Good Design Award is given the ‘G Mark’ – a symbol recognised internationally and known among the general public as a trustworthy indicator of excellence and quality.

“These Award wins acknowledge that Brother continues to pave the way in innovation, technology and quality, all while reinforcing our ‘At your side’ customer commitment,” Brother International (NZ) Limited, Executive Chairman, Graham Walshe, said.

“It’s extremely pleasing to see our investment in delivering high-quality products recognised in this manner.”

The Good Design Awards were developed in Japan and have been running since 1957. Not only do they acknowledge product design, but also usability and consideration for the environment.
