One of the biggest gripes of air travellers is being delayed at the airport or spending hours waiting for connecting flights.

The intrepid travellers at Cheapflights.com.au know the pain of airport boredom and have researched some of the cooler things to do when you’re stuck at the airport. 

The trick, according to Cheapflights, is being stuck at a good one. 

EXERCISE AND HEALTH
Yoga:  Go downward dog at Dallas, Fort Worth’s terminal-based yoga studio in the USA.
Meditate:   Albuquerque and Raileigh-Durham in the USA offer meditation rooms for travellers.
Ping Pong:  Tables are available at Milwaukee’s Mitchell Airport.
Run:  Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris is like a running track with its circular design of Terminal 1.
Swim:  A swimming pool and spa are available to passengers at Singapore’s Changi Airport.
Just breathe:  Narita Airport in Japan has an oxygen bar where you can get a quick fix of pure O2.
Get jabbed:   Get a flu shot, yellow fever vaccination or countless other travel jabs at walk-in medical centres at airports around the globe.
Health Check:  Teeth whitening and blood pressure testing are just two preventative measures you can take while waiting for your flight.

Pamper:  Qatar’s lounge in Doha has a full spa for bliss.
Pet:  Japan’s Narita Airport has a hotel for your furry friends along with a vet clinic and a grooming salon.
Pooch Therapy:  Didn’t bring your dog to the airport?  At Miami International, Casey the therapy dog wanders the terminal for pats, snuggles and to dish out some puppy love.
Pray:  Many airports have prayer rooms, but Dammam’s King Fahd International Airport has a mosque for 2000 worshippers.
Sleep:  Recline and pump out some z’s in a specially designed ‘sleeping chair’ at Seoul, Singapore or Amsterdam airports.
