Heritage Auckland And Heritage Queenstown Celebrate World Vegan Day 1

World Vegan Day is Friday the first of November. Heritage Auckland will celebrate the day with a special event dinner. Enjoy a delicious vegan degustation dinner prepared by award winning in Hectors restaurant for $55 GST inc. per person including a free car park (if two or more guests dine on the dinner special). Heritage Queenstown is also dishing up a vegan degustation dinner to celebrate the day, also for $55, in Mackenzies restaurant. Guests can tantalise their taste buds with a tomato and fennel consommé, spinach and spring vegetables with lemon grass jelly to start. The main is crispy Motueka tofu, with candied walnuts, roast beetroot and baby vegetables, followed by saffron poached pear, almond praline, chocolate mousse and coconut sorbet. Heritage Hotels have been at the forefront of vegan and vegetarian dining for many years and Heritage Auckland’s Hectors restaurant recently achieved New Zealand Vegetarian Society accreditation for its vegan/vegetarian menu options.
