Jennian Homes expands to meet increased demand

Jennian Homes expands to meet increased demand

Jennian Homes is responding to an improving construction industry and warming housing market by expanding its network of franchise businesses throughout New Zealand.

New Zealand’s longest-running group home builder, Jennian has introduced two new franchisees this month and is seeking interest in several other growing regions around the country.

“We’re delighted to welcome two new franchise owners to the Jennian group in July,” says Jennian Homes’ business development manager Dave Wilson.

“We’ve recruited fantastic existing business owners in the South Waikato and Manawatu. These are businesses that have prospered under their own steam and are set to grow exponentially with the support of our national systems and processes, which have been developed over 30 years building homes for New Zealanders. We’re also looking to build Jennian’s presence in regions with high growth, with new franchises planned for North Waikato, Rodney and the Kapiti Coast.”

Jennian Homes Manawatu has been bought by brother and sister business partners Tarsha and Cameron Isles who have successfully managed second-generation family business, Isles Construction.

Jennian Homes South Waikato will be based in Cambridge where owner-operator Mike Riddle has been building homes for almost a decade.

Mr Wilson said Jennian had continued to refine its selection criteria for new franchisees, requiring prospects to be well-resourced and commercially astute with strong existing relationships within the construction industry.

“The building industry has been through very challenging times in recent years, but we’ve taken our lessons and are moving forward with renewed confidence to meet the growing demand for new homes.”
