Minter Ellison Rudd Watts Wins Large Law Firm of the Year

8 November 2013

Winner - Large Law Firm of the Year, for the second year running, and Community Service in Law award

We are proud to announce that for the second year running, Minter Ellison Rudd Watts has been awarded Large Law Firm of the Year at the 2013 New Zealand Law Awards. We have also won the Community Service in Law award.

Winning and defending the award for Large Law Firm of the Year recognises our leading expertise across a broad range of practice areas and our role in acting on some of New Zealand’s largest, most complex and urgent matters. This award is voted for by the New Zealand business and legal community.

The Community Service in Law award recognises our support and assistance to the wider local community by way of donations, fundraising and volunteering. Among those that we support are the Building Better Schools through Business Partnerships Programme and YouthLaw. Judged by a panel, the award was given on the strength of the firm’s community activities over the past 12 months and the impact of our work.

“Being voted again as the best large law firm in New Zealand is a great achievement as it recognises the effort our people put into delivering excellent client service. Also being recognised by a panel for our work in the community is a huge credit to our staff and partners, who regularly give up their time and talent to support YouthLaw, Kelston Girls and many other worthy causes.”
