Young Professionals in Real Estate Unites Brands in Support

Industry Brands Unite in Support of Young Professionals in Real Estate

ORGANISERS ARE thrilled with the interest shown in the inaugural YPIRE (Young Professionals in Real Estate) Awards, which will be held in Auckland next month.

Presentation of these awards will be made at the ‘YPIRE End of Year Party’ at Carrington’s Pump House in Mt Albert on December 5.

YPIRE has received nominations from more than a dozen different real estate brands across New Zealand.

“While I expected YPIRE to be popular, the level of interest from youth right across the real estate industry in such a short space of time has been breathtaking.” says YPIRE facilitator Sarah Pearce.

“It’s so exciting to see that we can all rise above our brand differences in support of the next generation in our industry.

“We are also delighted to be partnering up with Unitec for this event,” adds Sarah.

“Given that Unitec are the largest tertiary providers in Auckland of the National Certificate in Real Estate, it was no surprise to us when they quickly came forward to be involved.”

Launched in New Zealand in August, the aim of YPIRE is to support and encourage the next generation of real estate practitioners.

YPIRE does so by providing them with networking opportunities, a mix of business and social events, the chance to learn from industry leaders and by acknowledging and celebrating their successes.

The winners of this year’s YPIRE Awards will be announced by Real Estate Institute of New Zealand (REINZ) chief executive Helen O’Sullivan and Unitec’s Head of Department Management and Marketing, Sukesh Sukamaran.
