The cream of the crop, when talking recruitment, were revealed and rewarded last night at the 2013 SEEK Annual Recruitment Awards (SARAs). A number of the country’s top recruitment companies entered the industry awards, aiming to take out the accolades in their area of expertise.

Currently in their tenth year, the SARAs aim to recognise and celebrate outstanding performance in the recruitment industry. Winners are determined by votes from candidates and hirers, meaning the awards are the stamp of approval from those that the recruiters directly work with.
As well as awarding the top performers in each of the nine categories, SEEK also identifies SARA legends – recruiters who achieve consistent excellence in their respective categories for three consecutive years.
“This year we are delighted to announce that Adecco, Potentia, Parker Bridge, Geneva Health and Talent International are our 2013 SARA legends. These recruitment companies consistently provide outstanding service and post exceptional results, excelling in their categories,” says Janet Faulding, General Manager of SEEK New Zealand.
“With 70% of Kiwis monitoring the job market for new opportunities and 31% Kiwis having changed jobs in the last 12 months, the recruitment industry continues to play an important role in connecting people with careers. We want to celebrate those that make significant contributions to the employment industry, that make a difference for job hunters.”
