The Rotorua Golf Club (Arikikapakapa) is one of the world's most unique golf courses. This 18-hole links style golf course is situated on a geothermal reserve. The geothermal area also means the course is set on pumice grounds which allows for rapid drainage after rain. Arikikapakapa is a full 18 hole golf course with easy walking and an excellent golfing layout with its fairways set around steaming hot lakes, bubbling mud pools and native New Zealand plant life.

The Rotorua Golf Club offers members and visitors an on-site ProShop, with trundler and cart hire, as well as a fully licensed bar, restaurant, changing rooms and showers. Located in central Rotorua it is close to the Union Victoria Motel.

Just a short from the centre of Downtown Rotorua, the Lake View course offers players the opportunity to test their golfing skills while at the same time enjoying a panoramic view of Lake Rotorua. Springfield Golf Club is located in central Rotorua in Devon Street West. Springfield is the only championship course in Rotorua. Set in park-like surroundings, there are many tree-lined fairways with strategically placed greens that offer golfers of all abilities the opportunity to roll in their personal best score.
