New Zealand Petroleum Exploration and Mining Permits Map

Petroleum Exploration and Mining Permits Map - November 2014 edition

The next edition of the New Zealand Petroleum Exploration and Mining Permits map is available now.

This edition features numerous permit work programme changes including to timelines for drilling work and seismic acquisition, several permit surrenders and the granting of multiple permit extensions.

The major new addition is the updated oil and gas reserves as at 1 January 2014, just released by the Government. These updates include some significant revisions following on-going development work at a number of fields.

The map shows:
• Current permit boundaries
• Seismic permits and multi-client lines
• Operator and partner names and stakes
• Recent annual and quarterly output statistics, reserves numbers
• Relevant New Zealand Petroleum & Minerals work programme commitment deadlines
• A summary of all major producers showing their contact details, overall permit coverage, exploration lead details
• Plus gas and liquids pipelines, water depths and field structure shapes.

Map subscribers will receive a printed summary of all the changes since the previous quarter's publication.

An example of the map can be viewed here.
