Recall of Chevron 4 and 6 Outlet Power Boards with Surge Protection

Friday 7 November 2014: Countdown has issued a precautionary recall of Chevron 4 (model WH-4PBS) and Chevron 6 (model WH-6PBS) Outlet Power Boards with Surge Protection, with a 3 metre lead.

The recall applies to those two products sold in Countdown, SuperValue and FreshChoice supermarkets from August 2013 to November 2014.

The products are being recalled due to a risk of overheating and fire.

There have been no reported complaints received in New Zealand.
Consumers should stop using the products and return them to their nearest Countdown, SuperValue or FreshChoice supermarket to receive a full refund.

Countdown apologises for any inconvenience caused by this recall. Customers can call the toll-free customer service number for more information on 0800 40 40 40.
