New Chief Financial Officer for Oyster
Rachel Barr has been appointed Chief Financial Officer for Oyster Management Ltd. Ms Barr will be responsible for financial and management reporting, capital management, cash flow management and taxation compliance functions for Oyster.
Rachel has 20 years’ experience in finance related roles in both New Zealand and the United Kingdom. She has spent the past nine years at NZX listed Goodman Property Trust, most recently as Finance Manager. During that time Goodman grew from managing $250M in property assets to managing over $2 billion in property assets.
Prior to Goodman, Rachel worked at Rockspring Property Investment Managers Ltd and BAA McArthur Glen UK Ltd. She has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland and is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Oyster is a specialist property and fund manager with in excess of $NZ650 million of property assets under management through a combination of private property syndicates and institutional property management mandates.
