Major New Event for Auckland

Major New Event for Auckland

Jade Promotions, the country’s largest provider of home, garden and lifestyle shows announced today that it is launching a new event in Auckland next year. The Auckland Better Home & Living Show will open in mid-November 2015 at the North Shore Events Centre and will follow the highly successful formula of the provider’s Better Home & Living Shows in Wellington and Hawke’s Bay.

The Auckland Better Home & Living Show will bring together the same quality of products and services found at Jade Promotions’ regular Home & Garden Shows, but will attract exhibitors and visitors with a focus on sustainability. The three-day extravaganza will run from Friday13 to 15 Sunday November 2015.

The event will provide Aucklanders with a preview of the latest trends and innovations in sustainable home improvement for indoors and out. The Events Centre will be packed with ideas and information on everything from eco-friendly homes, energy efficiency and growing greener gardens, to sustainable transport.

Company Director, Daniel Joll, says “The Show will feature five dedicated sections: Better Homes, Better Gardens, Better Minds & Bodies, Better Transport and Better Communities. It will also include a fantastic show prize worth thousands of dollars, amazing show-only specials, free daily seminars by industry experts and the winner of the exhibitors’ ‘Best New Eco Product’ competition.”

Mr. Joll explains, “At all our shows we ensure that there is a major feature for our visitors and for this new show we are seeking ideas from the public. It’s a chance for locals to have their say about what feature they want to see at their show. We’re asking community organisations to approach us with ideas for a display or event and the group with the best initiative will receive free exhibiting space at the Show. We’re looking for concepts that will fit with our Better Home and Living theme, plus appeal to a wide range of people. It could be an art or photographic exhibition, or perhaps a flower/garden feature – any display or event that would interest show visitors. If it can include onsite demonstrations or work-in-progress, then that’s even better.”

“We will also be giving away a limited number of free stands to community-based groups that approach us looking to generate more awareness about what they do. We want organisations that are doing community work within the Auckland area. It’s our way of sponsoring a deserving cause and showcasing it to the thousands of people who will visit the event. This year the North Shore Home & Garden Show attracted over 12,800 visitors, so it’s a fantastic chance for the successful community groups to promote themselves to the public.” Mr. Joll said.

Jade Promotions has 25 years of experience running such events and once the Auckland Better Home & Living Show opens its doors, will be running a total of eleven home, garden and lifestyle nationwide.
