Enjoy an evening at The Tannery - celebrating 57 shops

25 November 2011

Come and enjoy an evening at The Tannery:
We’re celebrating that we’ve reached 57 shops!

The historic Victorian styled Tannery is pleased to welcome Christchurch residents to the first Evening at the Tannery on 26 November when all shops will be open and there will be offers, music, wine, cheese and a prize draw concluding at 8 pm.

The occasion is the opening of The Fabric Store and the impending opening of Portobello Antiques, shops 56 and 57 at the Tannery complex.

“We’re fully tenanted now and have passed critical mass with 57 shops and nearly ten other businesses and more to come as we expand. There's nothing like us in NZ, a Victorian emporium, quality crafted products and real local businesses. We have 17 fashion stores, health and beauty shops, a quality bookshop, food and restaurants, bars, fine arts, bike stores and many others. We’re really proud of our tenants who have made The Tannery a huge success. Tonight we’re open to let people try fine wine, brilliant cheese and experience leisurely quality shopping in shops you won’t find anywhere else. We invite people to see how we’ve changed in the last 18 months and discover what shopping may have been like in the past and is alive here now,” said owner Alasdair Cassels.
