New Directorship for award-winning Wellington business-woman, Lisa Martin
Dedicated Wellington businesswoman, Lisa Martin, Managing Director of specialist bookkeeping firm, GoFi8ure, has been appointed as a Director of financial rescue-remedy company, Number Nurses.
Ms Martin, well-known for bringing the bookkeeping profession to life through her innovative, superhero-themed marketing, says joining the number nursing team is a great opportunity to grow the two companies’ strategic alliance.
“While the two businesses are complimentary, in that we’re both in the game of helping small to medium sized businesses organise and manage their financial accounts, they are two separate brands with different product offerings,” she explains.
GoFi8ure provides a mobile bookkeeping and accounting service to businesses who need a part-time financial controller. Number Nurses offers a range of licensed software products to help companies cut through time-consuming admin.
“The beauty about us working together is that we have the same target market so we can help improve our offerings by sharing information, knowledge and customer insights. We’re both all about helping businesses work smarter and more efficiently.”
Gayle Buchanan, Founder and Director of Number Nurses says. “Lisa brings with her a huge first aid kit of industry expertise, experience and awards – as well as a massive heart, a passion for business and an unwavering belief that every business can excel with the right processes in place.”
Recently, GoFi8ure scooped the Education in Business Award at the Hutt Valley Business Excellence Awards; Lisa received the Leadership Award. Earlier this year, GoFi8ure won the Xero Bookkeeper of the Year Award and the company was a finalist in the Wellington Gold Awards. In 2013, Lisa won the Best Boss National Award.
