Millbrook Resort Named Number 1 Hotel in New Zealand and 4th Within South Pacific

Millbrook Resort, Queenstown, today announced it has been recognised as the overall winner for a third consecutive year in the Top Hotel category of the 2015 TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice™ awards for Hotels, ranking first out of ten. For the 13th year, TripAdvisor has highlighted the world’s top properties based on the millions of reviews and opinions collected in a single year from travellers around the globe.

According to Brian Howie, Head of Operations at Millbrook Resort, it’s the extra mile that the Millbrook team goes to every day to ensure guests have a memorable stay that sets them apart.

“We’re often described as paradise on earth, and from the moment guests drive down the avenue of trees to relaxing at our Hole in One café, we’re on hand to ensure every one of our guests has an experience to remember,” he says.

“Winning this award once again is a terrific accolade, and we look forward to welcoming guests in the future and helping them enjoy the magic of Millbrook. Building relationships with our guests during their stay is something we take great pride in, and this shows in the reviews we’ve received from them on TripAdvisor.”

Millbrook Resort is set amongst 500 acres of breathtaking scenery, including rolling hills, lush gardens and 360 mountain views. With luxurious accommodation, a 27-hole championship golf course, which is co-host to the BMW New Zealand Open, four exceptional restaurants, an award-winning spa and Health & Fitness centre and conference facilities, it offers a complete sensory experience for every type of traveller.

Millbrook’s signature restaurant, The Millhouse, showcases the best of New Zealand’s produce from freshly caught salmon to local organic lamb, and operates out of the original flour mill from the resort’s former farm days. Modern Japanese cuisine is also available at Millbrook’s Kobe Japanese restaurant, or more casual dining at The Hole in One café.
