ManaBus.com Management Appointment

Auckland, 29 January 2015 – ManaBus.com, the new fast, friendly and affordable city to city express coach operator, today announces changes to its management team.

Joining ManaBus.com as CEO is Sheryll Otway, currently general manager of urban coach transport operator and Souter Holdings company, Howick & Eastern Buses.

Bill Rae, Chairman of Souter Holdings NZ, says that Ms Otway will lead both companies.

“Sheryll is a terrific operator, with vast experience. She will take over from interim CEO Geoff Norman, who has done a great job readying ManaBus.com to enter the market and running the business for the past three months, post-launch. Geoff now returns to his day-job as CEO of Wellington based urban transport and charter company Mana Coaches.

“With the majority of its operations in the upper North Island, it has become clear that ManaBus.com needs to centralise its management and operations in Auckland. Bringing Sheryll into the team will provide our transport operations and customer service staff with great support and leadership that’s close by,” says Mr Rae.

Ms Otway is the general manager of Howick & Eastern Buses, responsible for overall strategy and leading a team tasked with the day to day operations of the company. She has more than 16 years’ experience with the company, the last three as general manager.

Bill Rae adds: “I am delighted to welcome Sheryll to her new role at ManaBus.com and at the same time thank Geoff Norman for his outstanding work over the past 12 months.”
