850 farmers are injured each year from quad bike accidents in New Zealand. Two to seven die. A group of young innovative entrepreneurs are launching a new, safe storage solution for carrying equipment on quad bikes. Launching this week, Flatpak is a bag that is specifically designed to easily attach onto the back of a quad bike. They are launching their pledge me campaign on the 18th of February. Here, customers are able to pre-order a limited edition Flatpak along with other rewards.

They are working to raise $40,000 to produce their first run of 100 Flatpaks! They need your help.

Flatpak is a large, reliable storage solution that is also flexible enough to allow larger items such as hay bales and dogs to ride safely on the back. With multiple safety features including a fluorescent inning for assisting search and rescue helicopters in the worst case scenario, reflective strip on back and small pocket to store a radio or phone, as well as bungee hooks for loose and more dangerous items.

The idea has been developed through the recent participation in a business start-up accelerator programme, Venture Up. Where two new members joined the team. They are now at the stage where capital is needed to push the business forward. To jump this hurdle the young budding entrepreneurs are launching a Pledge Me campaign, to crowdsource funding for their venture.
