AMP announces Certus Financial Group as AMP Adviser Business of the Year and Director, Brendon White as Adviser of the Year

the winner of the AMP Adviser Business of the Year Award,
Certus Financial Group, and Director Brendon White as
Adviser of the Year.
On Friday 20 February, around 200 Advisers and employees from across the AMP business, including AMP, AMP Financial Adviser Network (AFAN), Independent Financial Advisers (IFA), Spicers and AdviceFirst, gathered to celebrate their achievements from the past year at the 2014 AMP Awards Dinner.
The Adviser Business of the Year is recognised as the top performing Adviser business based on quality of advice and for the highest overall business performance across all advice disciplines in 2014. The Group Directors are Warren Robertson, Mike Sheehan and Brendon White.
“I was very pleased to be able to present these awards to Certus Financial Group and Brendon White,” said Blair Vernon, AMP Director of Advice and Sales. “The award selection is based on achieving outstanding sales performance, customer retention and attracting new business, and they have demonstrated solid results across all these disciplines.
“Achieving the Adviser Business of the Year Award, along with Brendon receiving the AMP Adviser of the Year is a great testimony to this business,” continued Mr Vernon. “We’re proud to be able to celebrate and recognise this business’ performance and the difference they make to our customers in offering the best financial advice about their insurance and investments.”
Brendon White and Warren Robertson both commented on how unexpected these awards were and recognised their team in their success, “Receiving awards like this don’t happen without a great team of people behind us,” said Robertson. “We have a great team of Advisers at Certus who are so incredibly passionate about what they do.”
“New Zealanders who are actively seeking financial advice have a number of Advisers to choose from and being acknowledged through receiving these awards will set Certus Financial Group apart from their peers,” concludes Vernon.
In addition to this award, several other awards were presented including Spicers Adviser of the Year Award and the AMP New Adviser of the Year.
