Kordia makes play for medium-enterprise market

Kordia makes play for medium-enterprise market

A new campaign from technology provider Kordia New Zealand targeting medium-enterprise businesses promises “full throttle” internet via a direct, reliable and stable network connection.

Traditionally Kordia’s customer base comprises large enterprise organisations with multi-million dollar technology budgets. The company is now looking to diversify its offering demonstrating to ME businesses that great technology and service is an option they can afford.

Kordia Director of Sales and Marketing Drew Gilpin says one thing all business owners have in common is that the word ‘downtime’ or ‘outage’ strikes fear in to their very soul.

“We understand this and say ME businesses don’t have to tolerate the 3pm lag anymore.”

Kordia New Zealand’s connection runs directly from the client’s premises to the Kordia Internet gateway providing consistent, reliable and high-performance internet.

Services are delivered through a single dedicated and scalable connection, rather than multiple cables for voice and internet. This means extra convenience, efficiency and flexibility to add extra phone lines or to check exactly how much internet is being used.

“Uptake of fibre is increasing,” Gilpin says, “and our research shows a quarter of MEs are now on that network. And at the same time, businesses are becoming more confident in using new IT solutions.

They’re beginning to realise that being small in size should not equal substandard service.”

Gilpin says with Kordia’s 60 year history and its ability to scale services and solutions – the company is well positioned to deliver best practice technology and services to smaller organisations.

“We have it all ready to go; it’s just a matter of letting New Zealand business know that Kordia solutions are not only affordable, they also come with the great service our larger clients enjoy. We’re about delivering great technology solutions to business, regardless of size,” says Gilpin.

Kordia ME solutions include the provision of Internet at full throttle with no lag, SIP voice, multi-site connection, remote back-up, Wi-Fi connectivity and security. All solutions can be tailored to meet individual business needs and ready-made packages are also available.

“There is a lot of competition out there but our internal research has shown reliability and stability of network service is top of mind for ME businesses and that’s exactly where Kordia’s sweet spot is.”
