Former Radio NZ reporter Natalie Mankelow joins Campbell Squared Communications

Campbell Squared Communications is delighted to announce that former Radio New Zealand reporter Natalie Mankelow has joined its ranks.

Natalie is an award-winning former broadcaster and digital journalist, with a decade of experience in news journalism.

She has been appointed to the position of Consultant at the Tauranga-based strategic communications company, run by husband and wife duo Scott and Angela Campbell.

“Natalie is a talented and highly respected journalist with a wealth of experience,” says Campbell Squared Director, Angela Campbell.

“Her advice will greatly benefit our clients, particularly through our expert media training programme.”

Campbell Squared specialises in media engagement, strategic communications support, iwi and Maori engagement, and crisis and issues management. The company was established in 2010 and has recently opened an office in downtown Tauranga.

Ms Mankelow, who is of Ngaapuhi descent, says she is looking forward to working with a range of clients, in particular iwi and Maori organisations.

“I believe my broadcasting background and understanding of the media will be beneficial in helping clients reach their full potential,” she says.

“I’m excited to be able to assist them to build a solid reputation for the long-term.”

Director Scott Campbell, a former 3News journalist, says Campbell Squared’s fully-equipped media training room is drawing clients from across New Zealand and Australia.

“Our professional set-up is as close to ‘real life’ as you can get without being in an actual television studio,” he says.

“No other consultancy that we know of offers such a purpose-designed in-house facility with the latest recording and editing technology.”
