Alexandra Park unveils display apartment

Alexandra Park unveils display apartment with interest already ‘crazy’

The highly anticipated display apartment at Alexandra Park has officially opened to much public interest following the recent launch of the proposed ‘223 Green Lane West’ urban village which has already seen significant registrations of interest.

“The response has been overwhelming and we are already seeing a huge amount of foot traffic from those who have already registered as well as the general public who can’t wait to see the transformation start to happen,” says chief executive of Alexandra Park Dominique Dowding

She says the stunning display apartment will give prospective buyers the first chance to experience the sheer quality on offer. Each residence comes with a stunning entertainer’s kitchen complete with Bosch appliances as well as beautifully designed bathrooms.

“Architects RTA Studio in conjunction with Sydney based firm DARYL JACKSON ROBIN DYKE have done a brilliant job with much focus on indoor-outdoor flow and maximising big views and optimising light. The inspiration is to create ‘garden homes in the sky’ with balconies designed to be a seamless part of everyday living while ensuring privacy.

“Only in Auckland would you see people queuing up to get look through a display apartment. It’s a really exciting moment for the project, as people can now literally touch and see what it’s going to be like.

“The display apartment showcases just how well constructed, finished, and appointed the interiors are. People will love the kind of everyday luxury and comfort that has been effortlessly created as well as the thought that has gone into creating plenty of space and storage,” says Ms Dowding

Future residents can expect a range of views including overlooking Alexandra Park, Mt Eden, across Auckland to the city, the water, One Tree Hill, Cornwall Park and surrounds.

Alexandra Park recently announced the appointment of Vancouver urban design guru Joe Hruda to oversee the transformation. The Canadian has over 25 years of internationally recognised and acclaimed design achievement in large-scale, urban, mixed-use projects.

First to be released will be the East Gate precinct. For sale on freehold unit titles are a mix of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom residents encompassing various plan types as well as a small selection of terraces and some spectacular penthouses. The mixed-use urban village will also be offering ground floor high-end retail, hospitality and commercial space for lease.

National director of residential property marketing at Colliers International, Pete Evans, says anyone interested will need to move quickly as the development’s attractions are significant, and importantly for many construction completion will come quickly - as soon as late 2016.

“Everyone knows Alexandra Park and how central it is to everything, including the fact it’s in the much sought after double grammar zone,” he says. The size of the smartly designed apartments, coupled with the stylish interiors and finishes can be truly experienced in our beautiful new display suite.

Dominique Dowding: “It’s a very solid and attractive proposition for a wide range of ages and stages. What’s up for offer here is a world-class 21stcentury urban village offering a compelling mix of beautiful residences and landmark architecture, matched by lovely promenades, al fresco dining, great public spaces, and good amenities and public transport links.”

Currently the display apartment is open to registered VIP buyers, so to register and secure an appointment time contact the Colliers International team on www.apliving.co.nz or by phoning 0800-275-484.
