World leading construction technology comes to NZ
Establishment of SITECH NZ brings world leading construction technology to New Zealand
SITECH Construction NZ
(SITECH NZ) is the latest SITECH Technology dealership to be
established as part of Trimble’s global network. The
establishment of SITECH NZ gives New Zealand clients access
to the world’s latest construction technology, thereby
helping them to lower their operating costs, achieve better
efficiencies and greater accuracy.
SITECH NZ was formed out of GeoSystems NZ, a leading provider of Geospatial solutions in New Zealand since 1985. SITECH NZ still retains a connection with GeoSystems NZ under common executive leadership.
Daniel Wallace, General Manager of SITECH NZ and GeoSystems NZ, said New Zealand is recognised on the world stage as an innovative and forward thinking country and there is a big appetite for technology which improves productivity and safety and reduces cost, waste and environmental impact. Our team is looking forward to working with clients, from those working on small site construction to large infrastructure projects, better understand how to apply innovative construction technology to achieve this.
“With over 100 years of combined construction experience in the SITECH team, I believe we have the best technology and people to deliver unprecedented gains to civil contractors,” Wallace said.
Will Newall, Survey Manager at Fletchers for New Zealand’s $520 million MacKays Crossing to Peka Peka road construction project, who has adopted the entire Trimble Connected Site Portfolio says: “When you look at the volume of information we collect, share and analyse on a daily basis, it gives us a huge advantage in accuracy and productivity in everything from modelling and earthworks to mass haul. It’s hard to imagine we’d be able to produce these results so quickly without a unified view of the project and without the Connected Site from Trimble.”
