Hauora Honey honoured by inclusion in New Zealand Parliament's visitor shop
It takes a special honey to be featured in New Zealand's Parliament's gift shop.
As an outlet for products that represent New Zealand, such recognition is highly sought after.
“So we're delighted that Hauora Honey has been chosen for this honour,” says Hauora's marketing manager Tamara Savage.
“We're the only honey sold in our Parliament's visitor centre. We believe it strongly affirms the quality that goes into every jar of Hauora Honey, Hauora being a Maori word meaning physical, spirital and emotional wellbeing.”
New Zealand's Parliament is a significant meeting place for many officials and dignitaries, and, given its relatively small area, the visitor shop has to be specially selective on the range of products that it sells.
“Naturally, the visitor shop has to be a showcase of the best of New Zealand,” says Tamara Savage.
“Our country's well known for healthy, nutritious and safe food products. For our Manuka, Blue Borage and Clover honeys to be effectively affirming New Zealand's reputation is a huge honour.
“While the certification of Hauora honey's attributes such as the Unique Manuka Factor are obviously important and a guarantee of quality for our New Zealand and overseas customers, being selected to act as a type of representative of all our country's honeys clearly shows our reputation.”
Tamara Savage says the Hauora Honeys selected for New Zealand Parliament's visitor shop are exactly the same as those marketed to six countries around the world.
“Quality is key, no matter who or where we
sell,” she says.
“Our reputation rests on providing
the best for our customers all around the
world.
“Whether someone buys it in Beijing or New Zealand's Parliament, they can be sure that it is the highest quality that our 'Land of the Long White Cloud' can provide.”
