GrabOne and Postr Partner in New Zealand First

GrabOne Unlocks E-commerce Potential of Lock Screen with Postr

23 April 2015 - NZME’s GrabOne has teamed up with Postr, the app that lets users hire out their smartphone’s lock screen to advertisers in return for cash, to deliver a mobile technology first in New Zealand.

Postr CEO Milan Reinartz praised GrabOne saying they were quick to identify the retail opportunities that Postr could offer – the chance to serve shoppers deals without even having to unlock their phone.

“On average Kiwis unlock their phones around 100 times a day. Through this technology we’re giving users instant access to their favourite content in one place and removing the need to unlock, find and run individual apps.”

Ryan Watkins, Managing Director GrabOne says the company is always discovering new ways, especially in mobile technology, to reach new and existing users.

“We are excited to be part of this breakthrough technology initiative by Postr. It represents a real first for us in terms of the way we are able to serve content and engage New Zealand’s online consumers. The percentage of our customers who are browsing and transacting on mobiles continues to rise, so this partnership works well with our mobile retail strategy."

GrabOne will be the first thing users see when they pick up their phones and Postr will allow them to browse deals with ease, swiping right to flick through the range of offers, or swipe left to view it in full and buy.

Postr is available for free download on Android devices via Google Play.
