The NZDUSD opens at 0.7660 (mid-rate) this morning.

The NZD has bounced back against the USD after the US March durable goods order showed weakness in business spending. Tomorrow we have both our Trade Balance and ANZ Business Confidence data releases, but the real drivers will come from Thursdays FOMC and RBNZ Statements.

Global equity markets are broadly higher - Dow +0.02%, Nikkei -0.18%, Shanghai +3.04%, FTSE +0.47% DAX +1.93%, CAC +1.03%.

Gold prices are up $24 trading at $1203 Oil (WTI) is slightly lower down 0.35% at $56.95 a barrel.
