A desire to capture

“What we've minted is a coin that reflects a wild heritage, and the energy and desire to produce its impressive antlers to fight for its territory and right to mate.”
The Trophy Stag Proof Coins have been handcrafted by artisans and comes sealed in plastic presentation cases. .
“This type of design, with a very simple background is extremely hard to manufacture,” he says.
“It takes exacting standards; not the least in running the rounds through the press twice. It is specialised and highly technical to produce proof quality coins.
“The whole process takes kid gloves.”
Rich Elliott says there are at least two types of market buyers who will be interested in the Trophy Stag.
The investor market especially can see that silver's value will increase in the future and believe in the metal's intrinsic tradeable value and ability to act as a hedge in times of uncertainty.
The collectibles market will see that the Trophy Stag is a unique and limited edition proof that's adds a lustre to their collection.
“We get asked all the time by collectors from Germany, Switzerland and the USA among others whether we have any coins that we've issued,” says Rich Elliott.
“So for them and others we're delighted to have created a product that is special in so many ways.”
The minting batch of 200 Trophy Stag Proof Coins are selling for an introductory price of about NZ$28.00 each.
