BDO South Africa announced as Xero’s first African Platinum Partner

AUCKLAND, 13 May 2015 Xero has today announced BDO South Africa has achieved Xero Platinum Partner status - further expanding Xero’s global Platinum Partner network.

BDO South Africa is Xero’s first African Platinum Partner and has committed to make Xero the small business accounting platform of choice for its customers.

Reaching Platinum Partner status, not only means that BDO South Africa has more than 500 customers on Xero, but they will also have access to Xero’s training and promotional materials to help grow and revolutionise their practice. Free practice studio software, dedicated account manager support and marketing materials are just some of the added extras that BDO South Africa will have at their fingertips.

Xero NZ and Global Managing Director, Victoria Crone, congratulated BDO South Africa on achieving Platinum Partner with Xero.

“BDO is a great partner to Xero in New Zealand and our other main markets, so I’m really excited by the opportunity this expanded relationship will bring, and I look forward to hearing about the growth potential that Xero delivers for South African small businesses,” Crone said.

“Xero is now used by more than 475,000 customers in over 180 countries globally. And the speed at which small businesses globally are adopting Xero shows they want accounting software that is beautiful, easy to use, and can be operated from anywhere, on any device.”

“Today’s announcement shows we are truly a global solution and also shows that the right software paired with the right advice is an unstoppable force for driving business transformation,” Crone adds.
