Imake an Export Awards Finalist

Kiwi Company Imake Ltd an Air New Zealand Cargo Auckland Export Awards Finalist

Small Kiwi company Imake Ltd is one of 25 finalists in seven categories in the Air New Zealand Cargo Auckland Export Awards.
Imake features as one of four finalists in the BDO Food & Beverage Exporter of the Year Award category for its DIY food and beverage brands; Mad Millie, Mangrove Jack’s, Still Spirits and its newest – Grainfather.
These brands allow people to make handcrafted cheese, sausages, cider, beer, spirits and more at home.
The winners will be announced in June, just as Imake plans to launch its newest brand, Grainfather, into the US market. It enters this market following successful launches in New Zealand, Australia, UK and Europe in less than a year.

This brand is taking on the brewing industry and redefining homebrew as something that can achieve craft beer status all over the world.

Imake started from a single homebrew store in Petone, Wellington over 20 years ago. It has since grown into a wholesaler, distributor and retailer and moved to Auckland. Now based in Albany, Auckland, Imake has a second office in Brisbane, Australia and warehouses in the UK and US.

Imake uses a mixture of its own warehouses plus distributors to ensure a global coverage. Australia, USA and UK are Imake’s biggest export markets respectively.

The winners of the Air New Zealand Cargo Auckland Export Award categories along with the Supreme Award winner, and the 2015 Export Champion will be presented at a gala dinner at the Langham Hotel, Auckland on Thursday 18 June.
