HiFX - Data Update - NZ Business Confidence & Own Activity Release

The ANZ Business Confidence & Own Activity figures for May have just been released. They came in worse compared with the prior month.

The Business Confidence fell compared with the previous quarter:

+15.7% versus +30.2% in April

The Business Own Activity numbers also dropped compared with the previous quarter:

+32.6% versus 41.3% in April

The NZD is lower in immediate response.

Current indicative levels are:

NZDUSD 0.7135 / 0.7160
NZDAUD 0.9315 / 0.9340
NZDEUR 0.6505 / 0.6530
NZDGBP 0.4650 / 0.4675
NZDJPY 88.25 / 88.50
