Taxpayers Mourn Death Of Honourable Man

The Taxpayers’ Union expresses it deepest sympathies to the family of Peter Conway who passed away today, says Taxpayers’ Union Chairman John Bishop.

“Peter was an unfailingly honourable and dedicated New Zealander who strove to serve the people he represented."

"I have known Peter from the 1970s when he was an organiser for the Clothing Workers’ Union in Christchurch and I was a junior industrial relations reporter. We hit it off and have remained in touch over the years."

“Our deepest sympathies are with Peter’s wife and children."
