NZME to Insource Sub-Editing Requirements

NZME to Insource Sub-Editing Requirements

23 June 2015 - New Zealand Media and Entertainment (NZME) has announced it will insource its sub-editing requirements which to date have been provided by Pagemasters located in Auckland.

NZME and formerly APN have had a relationship with Pagemasters since 2007 covering sub-editing page production for The New Zealand Herald titles and NZME’s regional papers. NZME has advised Pagemasters that the existing contract will not be renewed in August.

Chief Operating Officer, Phil Eustace says NZME will gain workflow efficiencies as a result of insourcing the sub-editing functions.

“The work will be completely centralised internally enabling us to strengthen production services across the group and expand our resources across our print and digital publishing.”
