AUCKLAND, NZ - 1Above – the flight drink, designed to help you fly well and arrive ready, announced its first national sports team partnership.

The partnership deal signed with the All Whites, Football Ferns and U20s means that these teams will join the ranks of Lydia Ko in receiving travel wellness and recovery products from 1Above.

New Zealand Football Commercial Director, Steve Brebner, said the partnership with 1Above is a key step forward for New Zealand’s elite players and teams.

“Our players spend a lot of time travelling overseas with games scheduled all over the globe, often involving long-haul flights,” Brebner said.

“Linking with 1Above ensures our teams and players have access to an industry-leading flight recovery product which will minimise the effects of their travel – ensuring our athletes have the best possible chance to perform on the world stage.”

New Zealand football teams have been making a splash on the world stage recently with the Football Ferns leaving the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup Final in Canada with two draws and one narrow loss, while the All Whites and New Zealand U20’s put up energetic performances at the Seoul test match and FIFA U20 World Cup respectively.
