STAAH Clients Are Winners

STAAH Clients Are Winners on the Night at Holiday Park Association of New Zealand’s Awards Evening

STAAH CLIENTS have every reason to be impressed. Two of STAAH’s holiday park clients, Mawley Holiday Park and Queenstown Lakeview Holiday Park have achieved high honours at this year’s AA Traveller Awards Dinner on the 24th of June. The awards evening took place during the annual Holiday Park Conference, run by the Holiday Parks Association of New Zealand (HPANZ).

Masterton’s Mawley Holiday Park was the big winner of the night. Park owners Jelena and Rodney Algie topped the main category to win the coveted AA Traveller Spirit of Hospitality Award. “We were really excited, that’s the award everyone wants to win,” said Rodney.

Mawley Holiday Park signed up with STAAH just over a year ago, and they are thrilled with how it’s helped their business. Rodney says that STAAH’s software and management systems have enabled them to spend less time on the phone and more time focusing on other areas of the business. “Business is picking up; we’re getting a lot more online bookings.”

Queenstown Lakeview Holiday Park also received high accolades on the night. The park was a finalist in two categories, the AA Traveller Spirit of Hospitality Award and the Jasons Smart Business Award. Owner Peter Coppens says that becoming a STAAH client has helped their park succeed. “We look at STAAH as more of a business partner,” he says. “They speak our language.” Peter says being recognized with industry awards is a brilliant result for their business, and the recognition is a good benchmark of quality for people looking for accommodation.

Edwin Saldanha, STAAH’s Head of Sales, says that their systems help clients to reach the next level. He says, “We’re doing the right things, they’re taking on board what we do and you can see it in their results.” Holiday parks struggle to increase their revenue, but STAAH’s systems help them with this and allow them to focus on other parks of their business.

STAAH is proud of its award-winning clients. Being a part of HPANZ is important to them, too. “They’re quite passionate about what they do,” says Edwin. “We are passionate about what we do too.”
