iHeartRadio NZ to stream Rhema Media stations


20 July 2015 – iHeartRadio New Zealand is delighted to announce Rhema Media is joining the country’s leading digital streaming platform to offer iHeartRadio listeners access to Rhema, Life FM and Star.

NZME’s Group Strategy and Operations Director, Carolyn Luey says the partnership with the Christian based radio stations will complement iHeartRadio New Zealand’s current offerings.

“Rhema Media produce quality radio content that is popular to a niche market,” Luey adds. “iHeartRadio New Zealand has 300,000 registered users and with 56 percent of those under the age of 35, Rhema, Life FM and Star content will be accessible to a younger technology-savvy audience.”

Rhema Media Chief Executive Officer, Mike Brewer says “Rhema Media is delighted to introduce Rhema, Star and Life FM onto iHeartRadio New Zealand. This is one of many ways people can listen and we are delighted to be a part of the iHeartRadio offering. We want to keep our stations at the cutting edge of media delivery not only in New Zealand but across the world.”

Rhema, Star and Life FM promote Christian values and lifestyle. Life FM is a fun youth oriented station, with Rhema family centric and Star a station which plays Christian music loved for years.
