Frontier Touring is Number One Concert Promoter in the World

Frontier Touring

#1 Independent
Concert Promoter in the World

Frontier Touring is today celebrating the news that it is the world’s #1 independent concert promoter, according to leading US publication Billboard.

The half yearly result lists Frontier Touring with the overall third highest grossing Boxscore, preceded only by global organisations Live Nation (1) and AEG Live (2). The result also places Frontier firmly into the top spot of Australasian promoters, with its closest compatriot Dainty Group listed at number 7.

2015 has proven to be a massive year for Australasian based Frontier Touring with its biggest roster of tours on record, with names such as Foo Fighters, Ed Sheeran, Eagles, Drake, Kylie, Rod Stewart, Chet Faker, Billy Idol, alt-j plus more contributing to Frontier’s remarkable position on the Billboard chart.

Managing Director of Frontier Touring, Michael Gudinski said of the result “2014 was a huge year for Frontier but 2015 has set the bar even higher. We’ve never been so busy and our team has never worked as hard.

“You’re only as good as the artists you work with and we’re honoured to have such amazing talent choose to tour Australia and New Zealand as part of the Frontier family.

“It can be tough being an independent promoter in a fiercely competitive and increasingly globalised business but we’re incredibly proud of our ability to have more than held our own without compromising on the style and class we’re famous for. We’re looking forward to blowing everyone out of the water again at the end of the year!”

The latter part of 2015 for Frontier will see major stadium tours from Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift plus visits from Rise Against, Sam Smith, Jamie Lawson, Baio, James Bay, Passion Pit, Imagine Dragons, Tyler, the Creator, Conrad Sewell, Ben Lee, Chet Faker, and Cold Chisel with more to be announced.
