Upper North Island Topshop Winners Announced

Upper North Island Topshop Winners Announced

The best shops from across Auckland and the Upper North Island have been named at the Retail NZ Top Shop Awards ceremony in Auckland tonight, with Warehouse Stationery Royal Oak being named the Overall Regional Top Shop.

"The Retail NZ Top Shop awards aim to raise the standards of retailing in New Zealand and celebrate those who have achieved excellence across a broad range of categories, including National Multi/Stores, independent Single-Stores and OmniChannel retailers”, Retail NZ Chief Executive Mark Johnston said tonight. "I want to congratulate all the finalists and winners, but offer a special congratulations to Warehouse Stationery Royal Oak, which took the honours against six other finalists in the National/Multi-Store category, and was also awarded the title of Overall Regional Top Shop for the Upper North Island”.

The winners were selected based on three rigorous rounds of judging – two in-store assessments and a panel selection. Judges who visited Warehouse Stationery Royal Oak noted the genuine and enthusiastic customer service, well-stocked and tidy presentation of the shop, and the excellent staff knowledge about the products in store.

There was also a People's Choice award for the best Top Shop in the region which this year was awarded to House of Decor Onehunga.

Rebekah Brown from Resene Mt Roskill was named as the Service IQ Retail Professional of the Year in the Upper North Island.

220 shops across Auckland and the Upper North Island entered this year's regional Top Shop Awards.
