Summary
Data released today by
the Real Estate Institute of NZ (“REINZ”) shows there
were 79 fewer farm sales (-15.4%) for the three months ended
July 2015 than for the three months ended July 2014.
Overall, there were 433 farm sales in the three months ended
July 2015, compared to 479 farm sales for the three months
ended June 2015 (-9.6%), and 512 farm sales for the three
months ended July 2014. 1,719 farms were sold in the year
to July 2015, 10.6% fewer than were sold in the year to July
2014.
