New Computer Service Centre Opens in Wellington’s CBD

Geeks on Wheels has opened the doors to a brand new computer service centre in

Wellington’s CBD. The new store, labelled as Geeks on Wheels HQ, is located on Vivian St, in the heart of Wellington’s IT retail hub.

Matthew Carr-Gomm, CEO of Geeks on Wheels says, “The new store is a much needed and welcome addition to the consumer’s technology experience in Wellington. The store environment is warm, welcoming, and provides somewhere to get your computer repaired, grab a coffee and chat with a friendly expert.”

Geeks on Wheels HQ offers a place you can go when it’s time to give your system a service, or for free tech advice when thinking about buying a new computer. The convenient location means you can drop off your computer before grabbing a bite to eat at Café L’Affare, doing your shopping at Moore Wilsons, then popping back to pick up ready to go.

If you need it fast, most work can be done while you wait in a comfortable and interesting environment, as quick turn around is the aim. “The whole place, from the store layout, to the services offered, and our staff, has been specifically designed to ensure we always deliver an exceptional customer experience”.

Geeks on Wheels HQ is open extended hours, seven days a week. It is also a place that celebrates technology from the past with a quirky rotating collection of vintage computers. This display includes models such as the Commodore 64, Apple Mac Classic and a Spacies arcade machine.
