Wynyard Group Signs $27m Conditional Agreement with National Security Bureau

Wynyard solution will help solve high consequence crime, security and big data problems

31 December 2015, London - Wynyard Group (NZX:WYN), a market leader in high consequence crime fighting and security software, today announced it has entered into an agreement with a partner to provide a national security bureau with software and services. The security solution will include Wynyard's Advanced Crime Analytics and Investigations Case Management applications and will help the bureau solve high consequence crime, security and big data problems.

The software solution will be implemented with the systems integration partner and has a total contract value of $27.0 million over the initial three years. The agreement is conditional on the partner confirming it has completed specific commercial agreements with the end user.

Wynyard CEO, Craig Richardson, said law enforcement, border control and national security agencies deal with countless potential threats that Wynyard’s products help manage and solve.

“Identifying which threats present the greatest risk, ranking them and deploying resources to mitigate them is a daunting challenge for our customers. The combined power of our Advanced Crime Analytics and Investigations Case Management software platform helps customers solve these high consequence crime, security and big data problems.”
