EnableMe to help Mainlanders master their money

South Islanders who want to take control of their finances can soon call on the services of one of the country’s fastest-growing financial advisory firms.

EnableMe is opening its first South Island branch in Christchurch on 22 February. The franchise is owned by local Sarah Bayley who has over 17 years’ experience in the banking sector, including managing relationships with business owners experiencing difficult financial situations.

She has a strong interest in assisting people to achieve financial security, which is one of the key aims of the enableMe business.

The start of a new year is a good time to take stock and devise a plan to get finances on track, says Sarah. “People often overspend during the Christmas and holiday periods which can be the motivating factor to wanting more control over your money,” she says.

Saving more and paying off debt are common New Year’s resolutions but unrealistic goals and bad planning can often lead to failure.

“Analysing personal finances can be confronting and many people avoid doing it,” says Sarah. “But if you have financial goals that are specific and measurable, it’s much easier to reach them.”

EnableMe founder and financial personal trainer, Hannah McQueen, says the company’s team of registered financial advisors give clients impartial advice on where they are at.

“Your financial personal trainer will examine your current position and help you plan achievable goals,” says Hannah. “Much like a personal trainer at the gym, your consultant will work alongside you

to keep you motivated ensuring you get ahead faster.”

The Christchurch branch is enableMe’s seventh office to open since the company was founded in 2007. More openings are planned for later this year.

Sarah is from the UK and has qualified as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (UK). She has close family ties to the Canterbury region and her ancestors first settled in Canterbury during the 1850s.

“I am very excited to be opening a local office of enableMe and I’m looking forward to helping the people of Canterbury achieve their life goals and ambitions,” she says,

In her spare time, Sarah enjoys travelling, being outdoors and cooking for friends and family.

To mark the opening of the new office, enableMe is inviting the public to a FREE 45 minute Financial Fitness seminar on Monday 22nd February – 12:30pm & 5:30pm. The George Hotel, 50 Park Terrace, Christchurch Central. Opening Special: Consultations are also discounted to $75 + GST (from $300 + GST) for new clients until 29th April 2016.
