Crowne Plaza Auckland introduces new sharing menu

Crowne Plaza Auckland introduces new sharing menu at Aria Restaurant

Award-winning Aria Restaurant & Bar has introduced a brand-new dining concept to Crowne Plaza Auckland.

The restaurant’s new dinner menu is designed to share, offering hotel guests and visitors a relaxed and interactive food experience.

The selection of dishes includes small and large plates, sides, sweets and award-winning Kapiti cheeses, all designed to be shared by friends, colleagues, couples or groups while enjoying an extensive range of beer, wine and signature cocktails.

Guests can enjoy global cuisines made from fresh local produce with the help of the restaurant’s knowledgeable and dedicated team who can help perfectly match chosen dishes.

For single diners or those who prefer a more classic style of dining, most of the options can still be presented as a more traditional entrée, main and dessert.

Executive Chef Adrian Walker said the new menu is a more relaxed style and presentation and reflects a customer-driven change for dining experiences in the Auckland market.

“When I’m out for dinner with friends and family I opt for restaurants offering shared and interactive food options on the menu.

“This style of dining is more relaxed, people love the chance to pick and choose from a number of plates on the table, and often leads to a fun, social food adventure,” he said.

“We’ve changed the menu concept as shared plates allow for more creativity and imagination from the chefs to help excite our diners. Seeing what your partner or friend has ordered and suffering immediate ‘food envy’ is a thing of the past!”

Mouthwatering small plates priced from $14 to $18 include half-a-dozen oysters, pork belly or soup of the day. Large plates range from options such a tasty beef scotch fillet, porcini mushroom risotto or chickpea salad, priced from $28 to $32.

Guests can enjoy the sharing menu from 5.30pm to 10.30pm every day. Reservations are advised by phoning 09 302 1111 or emailing reservations@crowneplazaauckland.co.nz.
