Hello to a New Dawn in Travel

Hello to a New Dawn in Travel

Auckland – 15 February 2016. The New Zealand travel industry today welcomes the fresh new face of helloworld, the coming together of Harvey World Travel, Air New Zealand Holidays stores and some United Travel stores.

The new helloworld network also includes an innovative tiered business model, never before seen in New Zealand whereby the wholesale, branded retail, unbranded specialist, broker and corporate travel businesses have all come together under the helloworldumbrella to deliver a branded, affiliate and associate network.

helloworld Chief Executive Officer, Simon McKearney says the integration of the group of businesses now makes the helloworld network the largest travel business of its kind in New Zealand and delivers to its customers an “unrivalled value proposition.”

McKearney says the helloworld proposition is all about, “Delivering value, plus expertise, plus product innovation, to create a complete travel package that represents the best in market.” McKearney points to an expert global sourcing team as key to product innovation as well as excellent partnerships with third party suppliers such as coach, cruise and inclusive tour operators.

The coming together of the businesses into what McKearney describes as “being one in a more spirited body” is set to position helloworldas a market leader.

The group tagline of ‘experts in everywhere’ is a bold statement designed to capture the demands of today’s retail travel customer who is looking for a travel experience that extends beyond the online realm and delivers real value and peace of mind.
